These tasty 3-ingredient smoothies are easy on your pocketbook, require a short amount of time and deliver a heavy nutritional punch. They are the perfect pick-me-up for any time of the day.

Strawberry Soother

  • 8 frozen organic strawberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Kefir
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Optionally, add cinnamon or flax meal.

Magnificent Mango

  • 3/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup organic coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon Chia seeds

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. For additional flavor, add in a touch of nutmeg or some shredded organic coconut.

Cocoa Peanut Delight

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Place all ingredients in a blender with enough filtered water to achieve the desired consistency. Use almond butter instead of peanut butter for a different flavor. For a protein punch add 1/2 cup of organic raw almonds.

Green Delight

  • 1 organic green apple
  • 1 /2 cup organic kale
  • 1/2 inch piece fresh ginger

Cut apple into chunks with peel on and place in blender. Place kale in blender. Peel the ginger and cut it into small chunks. Blend all ingredients with filtered water until smooth. For extra smoothness, blend in 1/2 an avocado.

  • 1 organic red bell pepper
  • 1 organic navel orange
  • 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil

Slice the red pepper into quarters and remove the stem and seeds. Remove the peel from the orange. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

TIP: For easy freezer bag smoothies, freeze liquids in an ice tray and the other ingredients in individual smoothie bags. When you are ready to make your smoothie, simple dump the baggy into your blender and blend away.
