President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are absolutely right: the United States needs Greenland. In a bold move of strategic foresight, Trump has made it clear he’s committed to acquiring Greenland — peacefully if possible, but with national security as his priority. “We’ll get Greenland. Yeah, 100%,” he told NBC, emphasizing it’s about global stability and America’s leadership role in maintaining international peace.

Vice President Vance echoed that message during his recent visit to Pituffik Space Base, pointing to Denmark’s failure to adequately invest in Greenland’s security. With the Arctic increasingly targeted by Russia and China, Vance warned that Denmark has left the door open to adversaries. His message was clear: the people of Greenland deserve better, and America is ready to step in — diplomatically — to ensure their security and prosperity.

Critics in Denmark called the visit “provocative,” but the Trump administration isn’t backing down. As Trump stated, “We have an obligation to protect the world. This is world peace. This is international security.” Greenland’s location makes it a linchpin for defense, intelligence, and Arctic sovereignty. The U.S. presence there would reinforce NATO, secure vital resources, and project strength in a region where global competition is heating up.

Despite pushback, Trump and Vance remain resolute. Their vision is not about conquest but responsibility, strength, and securing the future. Greenland isn’t just an icy island; it’s a strategic necessity. Under Trump and Vance, America isn’t waiting for permission to lead—it’s stepping up.
