Put that tuna down! A major recall has been issued for canned tuna sold at Trader Joe’s, Costco, Walmart, and more due to a serious botulism risk linked to faulty packaging.

Why This is a Big Deal

The recall, issued by Tri-Union Seafoods and the FDA, affects 13 products across 26 states and D.C. The issue? Defective “easy pull” packaging may have compromised the seal, allowing for contamination by Clostridium botulinum – the deadly bacteria behind botulism poisoning.

Botulism is no joke! This toxin attacks the nervous system and can cause blurred vision, muscle paralysis, difficulty breathing, and even death. Unlike typical food poisoning, botulism doesn’t always alter the smell or appearance of food, making it even more dangerous.

What You Should Do

✔ Check your canned tuna – affected brands include Genova, Van Camp’s, H-E-B, and Trader Joe’s.
✔ Don’t taste or eat it! Even a small amount of botulinum toxin can be fatal.
✔ Return it, throw it away, or contact Tri-Union Seafoods for a refund.

Stay Safe!

If you’ve already eaten the recalled tuna and experience weakness, dizziness, or difficulty swallowing, seek medical help immediately.

Raw Milk: A Timeless Tradition with Powerful Health Benefits

Raw milk is making a strong comeback, with health-conscious consumers seeking natural, unprocessed alternatives to store-bought dairy. While debates around its safety continue, many raw milk advocates swear by its incredible health benefits.

Here’s why more people are turning to farm-fresh raw milk.

1️⃣ Easier to Digest for Some

Many who struggle with lactose intolerance find they can tolerate raw milk without discomfort. Unlike pasteurized milk, raw milk contains lactase-producing bacteria, which help break down lactose naturally.

2️⃣ Rich in Beneficial Nutrients & Enzymes

Raw milk is packed with essential vitamins, probiotics, and enzymes that can aid digestion and support gut health. Pasteurization destroys some of these beneficial compounds, which raw milk retains.

3️⃣ Supports Immune Health

Raw milk contains natural immunoglobulins, beneficial bacteria, and antimicrobial enzymes that may help strengthen the immune system. These elements are believed to aid in reducing allergies and promoting overall wellness.

4️⃣ Contains Healthy Fats

Raw milk is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support brain function, heart health, and reduce inflammation.

Safety First!

Raw milk should always come from licensed, reputable farms that follow strict testing and hygiene standards. In states where raw milk is legal, regulations ensure quality and safety for consumers.

Trump’s Bold Vision for Gaza: A Game-Changer in the Middle East

President Donald Trump continues to lead with strength and vision, pushing forward a transformational plan for Gaza in his meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II. At the White House, Trump reaffirmed his belief that Gaza could be redeveloped under U.S. authority, turned into a prosperous hub, and liberated from decades of conflict and mismanagement.

A Future for Gaza Under U.S. Leadership

Trump, a real estate mogul turned president, laid out a bold, strategic vision for Gaza’s future, suggesting it could be transformed into a thriving economic zone. With new hotels, offices, and residential areas, Trump envisions a region that Palestinians and investors alike would embrace. “They’re going to love it,” he said, confident in his proven success in development.

No More Weak Leadership – It’s Time for Results

While past administrations failed to bring peace and prosperity to Gaza, Trump isn’t playing games. He suggested Jordan and Egypt step up, potentially accepting more Palestinian refugees. Unlike weak politicians, Trump doesn’t need to threaten aid—his leadership alone sets the course.

Hamas on Notice

Trump also set a firm deadline for Hamas, warning that the ceasefire won’t last if they fail to release all hostages by Saturday. “We’ll see how tough they really are,” he declared, making it clear that under his presidency, America leads with strength, not weakness.

America First, Always

Trump’s vision for Gaza puts America in control without draining U.S. resources. This is real leadership, ensuring that American interests come first while bringing stability and prosperity to the Middle East. A win for America, a win for the world.

Chinese Spy Balloon Contained U.S. Tech from Five American Companies, Report Reveals

A Chinese spy balloon that flew across the U.S. before being shot down off the South Carolina coast in 2023 was equipped with technology from at least five American companies, according to a shocking new report.

What Was Inside the Balloon?

Recovered components included satellite communication modules, surveillance sensors, and other advanced technology—some bizarrely housed in a foam cooler. Among the most concerning discoveries was the Iridium 9602 messaging module, made by Virginia-based Iridium, which enables short-burst satellite communication.

American Tech in a Chinese Spy Balloon?

The identification of U.S.-made technology inside the balloon raises serious concerns about how commercially available equipment is being acquired, resold, or repurposed by America’s adversaries. Other companies linked to the balloon include Texas Instruments, Omega Engineering, Amphenol All Sensors Corp., and Onsemi. Swiss-based STMicroelectronics was also identified.

Spy Mission or “Weather Balloon”?

Beijing insisted the balloon was a weather-monitoring device, but U.S. intelligence confirmed it was used for surveillance. Thankfully, no evidence suggests the balloon successfully transmitted intelligence back to China.

What Happens Next?

With American-made tech turning up in foreign espionage efforts, tighter restrictions on exports and resales may be inevitable. The discovery underscores the urgent need to safeguard sensitive technology from falling into the wrong hands.

Food Experts Reveal How to Shop Healthy and Avoid Ultra-Processed Foods

The grocery store can be a scary place. There are so many choices – many that are unhealthy.  Embracing a healthier lifestyle starts with avoiding ultra-processed foods, which are linked to obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and mental health issues. These foods often contain high amounts of added sugar, sodium, unhealthy fats, and artificial additives.

How to Spot Ultra-Processed Foods

To identify ultra-processed foods, check the nutrition and ingredient labels:

  • Nutrient Content: If sodium, saturated fat, or added sugar is 5% or less, it’s a better choice.
  • Ingredient List: Long lists with unfamiliar or hard-to-pronounce ingredients suggest heavy processing. Keywords like soy lecithin, carrageenan, and mono- and diglycerides indicate additives that may harm gut health.

More Healthy Shopping Rules

By guarding yourself with simple shopping rules, you can help keep yourself and your family healthy!s

  • Shop the Perimeter – Most whole foods like fresh produce, meat, dairy, and whole grains are found around the edges of the store. Processed foods tend to be in the aisles.
  • Prioritize Whole Foods – Buy fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, nuts, and seeds instead of pre-packaged, processed options.
  • Avoid Sugary Drinks – Skip sodas, energy drinks, and flavored coffees. Opt for water, herbal teas, or unsweetened beverages instead.
  • Choose Quality Proteins – Select fresh poultry, seafood, beans, and nuts over processed meats like deli slices, hot dogs, and bacon.
  • Go for Whole Grains – Choose whole oats, brown rice, quinoa, and whole-grain bread over refined grains like white rice and white bread.
  • Limit Ready-Made Meals – Pre-packaged frozen dinners and instant foods often contain preservatives, sodium, and unhealthy fats. Cook at home with fresh ingredients when possible.
  • Pick Unsweetened Dairy – Choose plain yogurt, unsweetened almond or oat milk, and natural or raw cheeses over-sweetened or artificially flavored options.
