It’s no longer just sci-fi – the flying car is real! Alef Aeronautics has pulled off a historic moment, successfully testing its Model Zero prototype in California, proving that the future of airborne commuting is closer than ever.

The sleek electric vehicle smoothly lifted off the ground in a jaw-dropping public test. It soared over a parked car – a moment Alef’s CEO Jim Dukhovny called their “Kitty Hawk” breakthrough, comparing it to the Wright Brothers’ first flight.

Unlike clunky drone-like designs or winged prototypes requiring a runway, Alef’s futuristic machine hides its rotors within the chassis, maintaining a classic car-like look. It boasts a 320-kilometer driving range and can fly up to 160 kilometers, making it a true hybrid of road and sky.

Founded in 2015, the same year Back to the Future Part II envisioned flying cars. Alef now has over 3,300 pre-orders for its upcoming Model A, priced at $300,000. A more affordable Model Z is also in the works, expected to cost around $35,000.

With production ramping up, the dream of flying cars is no longer a fantasy – it’s just a takeoff away!
