A groundbreaking discovery at the Durupinar formation in Turkey further confirms the biblical account of Noah’s Ark.. Researchers from the Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark Research team have found compelling evidence that this site, long thought to resemble a ship, is the resting place of the Ark described in Genesis.

The Durupinar formation, a 538-foot structure near Mount Ararat, matches the biblical dimensions of Noah’s Ark—300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. Now, scientists analyzing samples from the site have uncovered traces of clay-like materials, marine deposits, and remnants of seafood, including mollusks. Dating back 3,500 to 5,000 years, these findings align perfectly with the biblical timeline of the Great Flood.

Dr. Faruk Kaya, the lead researcher, confirmed that evidence points to human activity in this region since the Chalcolithic period, precisely the timeframe of Noah’s flood. The presence of marine life at such an elevation further proves that this location was once submerged under water, just as the Bible describes.

Mount Ararat, historically identified as the final resting place of Noah’s Ark, continues to be a testament to this world-changing event. The overwhelming evidence from geological, historical, and scriptural sources confirms what believers have always known—Noah’s Ark was real, and the Great Flood was a defining moment in human history.
