Cut it, burn it, kill it. That is the usual approach to getting rid of cancer. The dreaded diagnosis brings along fears of losing one’s hair, repeated surgeries and prolonged, heavy treatments.
But what if there is another way? A way that the mainstream medical world has ignored, discredited or even kept secret from millions of suffering patients. A way that your doctor may know about but isn’t allowed to recommend to her patients.
There are hundreds of anecdotes, personal testaments, documentaries and books produced revealing individual experiences of healing cancer with nutrition and alternative therapies. Stories of people who have supported their body’s natural healing ability to recover from illness in a holistic manner, without the repeated trauma and shocking side effects of conventional treatment.
For example, author Ann Cameron cured her stage 4 lung and colon cancer by drinking the juice of five pounds of carrots each day. In just eight weeks the cancer stopped growing, and after eight months her body was entirely cancer-free. She was healed without having to go through the life-altering horrors of chemotherapy. Many stories can be found all over the Internet where people explain how a diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables reversed their cancer and left them with a clean bill of health.
Yet your doctor will continue to recommend the standard invasive procedures and entirely exclude any mention of the holistic techniques that have worked for so many. Why is this?
It turns out that conventional Western doctors are bound to a set of rules that keeps them from recommending anything outside of the current published research in case it should result in damage to the patient — and possibly a medical negligence lawsuit. Our current medical system leaves the responsibility for our health in the hands of the MD, which in turn means that doctors tread very carefully.
There are small groups of progressive researchers and independent centers that fund the study of natural therapies for cancer. But for the most part, this type of research does not receive funding because natural therapies often cannot be patented. You cannot put a patent on a carrot, so there is no money to be made for the big pharmaceutical companies.
This leads to a lack of research around alternative treatments and also the widespread perception that the minimal scientific support indicates that these therapies are not effective. It’s important to examine the issue on a deeper level, where we see that there may be other motivations behind the lack of research and also the inability to recommend holistic methods in conventional settings.
We at The Alternative Daily encourage you to take responsibility for your own health in addition to working with your trusted practitioner.
