21 Ways To Save Money With Baking Soda

9. Treat itchy skin

Itchy skin can occur for a number of reasons, including eczema and allergies. This is an old remedy which is still used today — soothing itchy skin that’s irritated. Instead of investing in $8 creams that are known to contain potentially harmful ingredients, soak in the bath for around $0.50.

If you would prefer to target a more localized area, make a paste using one part baking soda and three parts water. Dab this solution onto an itchy bug bite or even diaper rash.
