We all know about the dangers of cigarette smoking; it’s one of the worst things that you can do to your body.
But the fact is, one in five Americans still smoke despite of this, and it’s responsible for nearly half a million deaths, as well as roughly 41,000 deaths that result from secondhand smoke exposure, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
The CDC also labels cigarette smoking as the “single largest cause of preventable death,” with approximately one-third of deaths from heart disease and cancer in the US attributed to smoking, as well as between 80 and 90 percent of lung cancer deaths. Smoking is also linked to a host of chronic illness that can significantly reduce the quality of life, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), stroke, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and macular degeneration.
Chewing tobacco may not be much better than smoking it, either. If you chew tobacco, you increase your risk of developing a number of cancers, like esophageal cancer and various types of oral cancer, including cancers of your mouth, throat, cheek, gums, lips and tongue. You’ll also have an increased risk of suffering from pancreatic cancer and kidney cancer, as well as gum disease, cavities and heart disease.
If you’re still smoking or chewing and want to quit, but haven’t been able to manage accomplishing that important goal, hemp may be the answer. Or, HEMPDip, to be more precise.
HEMPDip is pure hemp – it does not contain THC, the active ingredient responsible for marijuana’s high. In fact, it’s actually quite good for your health. HEMPDip contains about 30 percent hempseed oil, which is high in protein and well-known for its good balance of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids (also known as EFAs), as well as gamma-linoleic acid (GLA). The oil is also a very nutritious source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C and E as well as beta carotene.
Founder of Wyoming Snuff Company, maker of HEMPDip, Mark Daly says that he quit chewing tobacco after 30 years thanks to the product, noting, “I gnaw on the hemp for a burst of hemp oil and flavor to get over those strong cravings of nicotine.” He says that HEMPDip was “born out of necessity,” as he needed something that closer resembled tobacco than the mint or clover snuff and never set out to make hemp snuff. His original goal was to use a Wyoming-grown plant.
To use it, you simply place a pinch between your cheek and gum and enjoy a refreshing, satisfying flavor that also leaves your mouth with a pleasant taste. Users can choose from natural, wintergreen or vanilla.
The juices are safe and healthy to swallow, and the “dip” can be spit out or consumed. Its flavors are said to last for more than an hour, helping you to kick the nicotine habit and enjoy fresh breath too.
HEMPDip doesn’t promote tooth or gum decay – and, hempseed oil is something that can be used over the long term in order to help maintain a healthy EFA balance.
