3 Undeniable Ways to Better Your Life Today

With so many people suffering from disease and illness related to chronic inflammation, such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, psoriasis and many others, a recent study by neuroscientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison highlights the importance of natural, and free, remedies for relief.
Most have us have at least heard that meditation can reduce stress as interest in the practice has increased quite a bit in recent years. While it’s not a cure-all, the study found that there are specific ways that it can be beneficial and that it may offer a “lower-cost alternative or complement to standard treatment,” in addition to being free and easily practiced in the home or anywhere a patient desires.

Why suffer needlessly through pain?

With so many side-effects that come from synthetic medications, it only makes sense to include mindful meditation in your arsenal of weapons battling chronic inflammation. Many people needlessly suffer through pain that comes with chronic inflammatory diseases as well as many other common afflictions related to inflammation, including diabetes, obesity and even depression.

If there was a free, simple option with no side effects that could relieve and sometimes eliminate this painful suffering, wouldn’t you try it? Unfortunately, many people continue to ignore what seems obvious to some of us- instead seeking out that magic pill only to end up in a vicious cycle that only becomes worse over time.

Mindful meditation is very effective and has many other positive benefits to the body as well as the overall quality of life, including better sleep, reducing anxiety, increasing the ability to focus, lowering blood pressure and even weight loss or maintaining an ideal weight.

Diet can also reduce inflammation

Of course it’s not the only natural option for reducing chronic inflammation. A diet filled with foods that come directly from the earth are best; especially those packed with antioxidants, such as blueberries, spinach, flax, spirulina, kale -plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, while avoiding processed foods like fast foods, most packaged foods, trans fats, sugar and fried foods, will go a long way in battling inflammation.

The positive impact of exercise

Exercise also plays a role in staving off chronic inflammation. It doesn’t matter how you move, the most important thing is to be active in some way. Going for a walk, dancing around your house, taking the stairs or heading out for a run are all great ways to lessen chronic inflammation and will also help you achieve or maintain an ideal weight – automatically lowering your risk of suffering from inflammation-related illness.

We have all the tools we need. Do you use these tools in your everyday life?
